Bad Boys and Bad Girls
What is it about being around mischievous individuals that fascinates some people. Besides the fact that it can be just sheer fun.
Is it that being in the presence of these trangressively irresponsible beings presents symbolic alter egoism for the contrasting do gooder. The do gooder fantasizes about becoming this bad person without actually crossing the boundary of mainstream morality. It it that good and bad complement one another. As it is said, opposites do attract.
To name some celebritized contrary couples in the perspective of nostalgic film and television are Lamont and Rawlo of Sanford and Son, Joni and Ginny Piccallo of Happy Days, Wally Cleaver and Eddie Haskle of Leave It To Beaver, and Melissa Gilbert of Little House on the Prarie and Billy Idol.
I'm sure you could name a few.
