Wikipedia...

I was on Urban Dictionary looking up a term when I came across a slew of wiki terms. Since we were debating the act of wikiing something I figured this would be an interesting topic. I thought this one was funny because I am guilty of it.

wiking off
A neologism. The practice of reading essentially random Wikipedia pages for entertainment or as a procrastination technique; alludes to intellectual masturbation.

I caught my boyfriend wiking off at the computer the other night.

I love it. Assimilating it into my vocab even as I type.

My mom walked into me wikiing off once. It was awkward.

What's worse was then she starded doing it.

O man, I openly talk about my wiking off with friends and family. At first it is slightly awkward but then they finally admit that they are guilty of it as well. It's all smooth sailing after that.

Haha. Id say just about everyone that knows how to use a computer has wiked off at one time or another.

If only there were as clever a name for the obligatory facebook visit that somehow precedes ABSOLUTELY every attempt of mine to do any kind of homework whatsoever.

Facebook is a strange thing to me. I check it everytime I am at my computer and then, when I am away, I check it from my phone. I never have any messages but I keep thinking that one day, there will be something there. And then, it will have been worth it.

Another site I have become addicted to is hotornot.com. Post ur pic here and let us rate you. It's high school all over again, only this time, I am winning. I am currently an 8.4. Hex yeah.

On hotornot.com, I always give the ugly people high scores because I feel sorry for them. And I give the hot people really low scores because I don't want them to get big-headed about it.
